So sorry I have not been keeping up with this blog, things have been super busy at work the last few weeks! I am now in week 24 (just started the 6th month) and I can't believe how fast this is going by! I am more than half way done now. Ya know, it's funny because for the longest time I could not feel the little guy moving and now it is like he never stops. If he is this full of energy when he is born we are in trouble! He seems to be the most active in the afternoon and at night between 10 and 11. Right when I am watching Jay Leno. Well, now it will be Conan, I guess. Me gives me swift kicks every once in awhile, then sometimes it feels like he is just stretching, and at other times it feels like he is doing full on aerobics in there! I have not felt him have the hiccups yet, and he is not quite big enough to start pushing up into my lungs, which I am grateful for, but I am sure it is coming! I am also grateful for the cooler weather of today . .. the heat of the last few days was starting to get to me. Then I remember I still have all of July and August to get through! Holy cow, I need some ice cream and one of those little kiddie wading pools. :) My hubby and I are still trying to think of a name. The only thing that has struck our fancy so far is Devin Michael (my hubby's name is Mike). We don't want something too weird but we don't want super old fashioned either. It seems there is not much in between. So the search continues. Maybe one of my friends has one of those baby name books I can borrow. If you have any cute boy name ideas let me know! I had to go get my blood drawn this morning for the glucose test. Ouch! One thing that being pregnant does to you, it relieves some of your fear of needles. You have to get poked so many times that it starts to not really bother you. You just put your arm out there and wait for it to be over. All is well.
