Ok, so I have been slacking on this whole blog thing, I know!I have just been so busy with planning my wedding, being sick, more planning. . . . plus my daughter spent a few days in the hospital with pneumonia, so needless to say blogging has been low on my to do list!
But, I am happy to say that I am now at 14 weeks, which means I am into the second trimester and past any serious danger

of miscarriage, which is a huge relief. The morning sickness had gotten better and better, although I did have a small puking spell on Friday night. Saturday I felt better than I have in months . . . I felt almost normal! My husband to be was on a weekend trip with his friends having his bachelor party, and since it was such a nice day I decided to go out and do some yard work. We have this old pine tree in our front yard that sheds worse than a long haired cat . . . I swear I could rake around that thing everyday and still have bags of needles.
Anyway, I worked in the yard for awhile . .. but I think I over did it, because I was sure sore the next day!
Anyway, we had our second doctor appointment this morning. I have gained two and a half pounds, which I was told is normal. We heard baby's heartbeat again, the doc did not have a hard time finding it this time at all. It is a steady, strong heartbeat. I looked over at Mike while we listening and the look on his face was absolutely priceless. I am not the only one glowing!
The bad thing is . .. last time they drew some blood in order to do all the necessary prelim blood work, you know, like the Rh factor and stuff, and for some reason they only did some of the tests, but not all! So I had to go back down to the lab and get poked again . . . but the good thing is that they will not charge me again since it was their mistake.
So I go in again on April 20, when I will be 18 weeks, and at that appointment they are going to schedule an ultrasound so I can find out if we are having a boy or a girl! I am so excited! So I will know near the end of April or beginning of May if I should be buying pink or blue!
